Five days four nights at Bangkok
Bangkok is a busy city
Traffic jam all the time
Everything is expensive especially transport
If you are not good in bargain, please walk more and take BTS (LRT in malaysia)
If not u will kena "chopped" kaw kaw.
U may take a cab with condition run meter and no stopby for "coupon"
No matter cab or tuk tuk, they will always offer you to go few stops to get them coupon
So tat they can redeem meal, I felt awkward to do so..as the shop are all expensive.
Well, bangkok is a shopping paradise.
You can get cheap cheap things here if u r a good bargainer.
The following are the places I went for these few days.
Day 1:
V reach Don Mueang airport edi night time. V Just go check in our hotel.
Hotel: pratunam pavillion hotel( RM 124/ night include breakfast)
It is located at nearby pratunam market, quite convenient and need little walking to go BTS station ( phaya thai station)
When reaching airport, please do not go info centre to ask for transport. it is more wise to tk cab by running meter. U may take bus 29 which only cost u 16baht to go Mo Chit station. Then ride BTS to phaya thai station.(34baht)
Day 2:
Siam paragon+ MBK+ chocolate ville
V go by tuk tuk which cost us 40 baht with 1 stop at a boutique. I had a feeling that it is better pay more oso dont want go for any stop.PLEASE!! it seems lk idiot to ask for coupon. If u hv the same feeling like me then it is rather u pay more or go by BTS.
U cn reach siam paragon by riding BTS at any nearby station and drop at SIAM station. To go MBK, you can walk from siam paragon, it mayb take about 10mins walking. U may ask info centre for details.
For me, siam paragon is a grand shopping complex lk our pavillion or klcc..all about branded and high class shops.
MBK- is much more affordable shop. It is all about shopping n shopping...
I strongly recommend to go chocolate ville especially for couple or those like to tk pic.
It is slightly far from the town. V take taxi which cost us 350baht frm pratunam to chocolate ville after bargain and no pay for tolls and v r lucky to meet msia ppl to share taxi when bc frm thr which cost us 370baht include tolls divide 2..
Sorry to say that chocolate ville is not about chocolate. Haha..it is more abt gardening I tink but the environment thr is nice.
There is only one restaurant...
Pork ribs is a must try food but the portion is big for two ppl. The food thr taste good with slightly expensive price but still affordable.
Total bill for that night for two ppl is 1000baht. (2 main course+ korean salad+ Singla+ soft drink)
It is recommended for first visit.^^
Day 3- terminal 21+ chinatown + asiatique
V ride taxi to terminal 21 frm pratunam street...which cost us 150baht as v fed up to find the cheapest after bargain v many taxi n tuk tuk. Sm taxi smore cheat us terminal 21 nt yet open..inisist wn bring us go other shop to get coupon for him..sien diao..
Anyway, terminal 21 is nice to visit as it airport as theme.u may travel from one country to another with one level difference. Haha..the washroom in each floor is our most visited place.haha..bcos its washroom hv its own theme. Quite nice..the shops overthere oso branded one, bt v find the food court thr is quite cheap to hv a proper meal. U cn go check it out.
Then v tk BTS at Asoh station which near to terminal 21 to chinatown. ..personally dislike thr bcos it is all about market. all sold in large quantity lk pemborong lk tat.
Asiatique is the second place I recommend.
It is nice to tk pic and I grab alot naraya bags over thr..hehe..naraya bag is the branded shop at bangkok with affordable price..guess wat.the bag only within 50baht to 800 baht but the shop look grand like those LV, gucci shop..haha.
Day 4- chatucak market + massage+ pratunam
It is a weekend market which is a must go place. .bt I am not a shopaholic so I dint shop any at thr...bt it is worth visiting. .there are variety of things..which properly u wil lose at smwhr thr...lol..
Massage is a must do thing when go thailand..dont you tink so? Hehe
We went to our hotel massage which hv promotion frm 12pm to 2pm.
V take aroma massage which Supposely cost 450baht then discount 30%..only need pay 315 baht..worth for the price..hehe..
Pratunam mall is another shopping cheap things place..so u go figure out urself...for me almost all the same.lol.
DAY 5- back to kl.
